Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how PDS 212 Form Filler handles information when you use the Android app. The app is developed and published by Jib Bernal.
Information You Enter
The app lets you enter information into fields based on the Personal Data Sheet. This may include personal, family, education, employment, reference, identification, and other information that you choose to type into the app.
How Information Is Stored
Information entered in the app is stored locally on your device. The app uses Android encrypted storage where available. If encrypted storage is not available, the app may fall back to private app storage provided by Android.
The developer does not operate a server for collecting your form entries, and the app does not require you to create an account or sign in.
PDF Export
The app can generate PDF files from the information you enter. PDF export is started by you, and Android asks you where to save the file. Once exported, the PDF is controlled by you and by the apps, folders, cloud services, or people you choose to share it with.
Backup And Restore
The app can create a backup file when you choose the backup feature. Backup files are encrypted by the app before being saved to the location you select. You are responsible for keeping exported backup files secure.
The app can also restore data from a backup file that you select. Restoring a backup replaces the current form entries in the app.
Android System Backup
Depending on your device, Android version, manufacturer behavior, and Google/device backup settings, Android's own backup or device-transfer features may process app data. This is separate from the app's manual backup feature and is controlled by Android and your device settings.
Data Collection And Sharing
The app does not transmit your form entries to the developer's servers. All personal data you input into your Personal Data Sheet remains stored locally on your device.
To support app maintenance and development, the app integrates a third-party advertising network (Google AdMob / Google Mobile Ads SDK). The advertising SDK collects and processes device and technical data as detailed in the Advertising section below.
The app does not use third-party analytics SDKs, user tracking SDKs, crash reporting SDKs, or account login services. The app may open your email app if you tap the developer contact email; any email you send is handled directly by your chosen email provider.
Advertising (Google AdMob)
The app displays third-party advertisements served by Google AdMob. To serve, personalize, measure ad performance, and prevent fraudulent activity, the Google Mobile Ads SDK may automatically collect and transmit certain device and technical information, including:
- Device Identifiers: Google Advertising ID (GAID) or other device identifiers.
- Technical & Network Data: IP address (which may indicate approximate general location), device make and model, operating system version, and mobile network details.
- Interaction Data: Ad views, clicks, and diagnostic metrics related to ad delivery.
Form data is strictly protected: None of your Personal Data Sheet entries (names, personal records, employment history, civil service data, or family information) are ever accessed by, shared with, or transmitted to Google AdMob or any advertising partner.

Advertising Choices And Opt-Out
You can manage your advertising choices or reset/delete your device advertising identifier at any time through your Android device settings:
- Open Android Settings > Google > Ads (or Privacy > Ads, depending on your device).
- Tap Reset advertising ID or Delete advertising ID to control personalized advertising.
Data Deletion
You can delete saved form data inside the app by clearing individual pages or using the app's factory reset or clear-all option. You can also delete the app from your device to remove app-local data, subject to Android and device backup behavior.
Exported PDFs and backup files are stored wherever you chose to save them. To delete those files, remove them from that location manually.
Children's Privacy
The app is not directed to children. The app is intended as a utility for users who need to fill out a Personal Data Sheet.
Security
The app is designed to keep entered form data on your device and uses Android storage protections where available. No method of electronic storage is perfect, so you should protect your device, exported PDFs, and backup files with appropriate care.
Changes To This Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated periodically to reflect changes in app functionality, third-party integrations, or applicable laws. Any updates will be published on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
